Thank you everyone for the well wishes! It meant a lot. This was such a traumatic experience for us and for Bunster. Wanted to share an update. Bunster is still in the Hospital, but is doing well. They were able to remove the bladder stone from his urethra without surgery (it popped out when they inserted a catheter while prepping him for surgery). The vet and team were amazed. No sign of trauma or blood in urine. He is being monitored until he can pass a steady stream of urine, but they let us know last night that they expect it to take about three days for the swelling to subside. Tentative plan is for him to go home tomorrow!
