(Bunny tax)

Help me and my boyfriend settle a disagreement. We are in the process of bonding our two bunnies and currently give them run-around time in 12 hour shifts.

We also live decently far north so the sun sets around 4:45pm this time of year. When we left for the gym earlier this evening (after sunset) I decided to leave the light on in the bunny room for the half hour we’d be gone so that my boy can see where he’s going. My boyfriend says it wasn’t worth it because rabbits can see in the dark.

I know rabbits are crepuscular and can see better at dawn and dusk but not so well once it gets fully dark. Would having something like a night light be good for him in the evenings if we’re not home? Especially seeing as his sister gets to run around all day in the sunlight.
