3 years sober as of yesterday (alc) Going through life transition and used to paint a lot more than I used to. Made art for my partner, but lost that love to create for me once it was over.

Regardless, I've found recent inspiration to try again and it's been a bit freeing on my soul. I'm not a big watercolor painter as oils are much more comfortable to me, but I enjoy the slight unforgiving nature that watercolor can have. There is a bit of commitment to a brush stroke that's different from other media.

Anyway, made this as a way to find joy in creating and painting again and to celebrate my sobriety of alc, nic vape, and grass (lol). A little victory lap of sorts.
