Yesterday I posted a painting here. I was really disappointed with my painting. I was disappointed with the outcome and the fact that my painting didn't look anything like the inspiration painting.

So many people commented on the post and gave me helpful advice and encouragement. Some also gave me a little much needed realistic tough love. I can't describe how grateful I am. So many people took time out of their schedule to guide and encourage me. None of you had to do any of it. And yet you did. I feel likey efforts and my journey matter. That there are people who don't know me but still care.

One of the kind souls advised me to divide my paper in four parts with tape and practice each element of a painting (sunset, trees, water etc) again and again and see the progress. I took that advice to heart and this is a mini sunset painting.

Please tell me how it is and what I could do to improve.
