i purchased a pair of DT 770 pro 80ohm from amazon about 3 years ago, and had so many weird random issues with material durability, screws coming loose, etc, that ad far as I could tell almost no one else had with their pairs. eventually they just stopped working, but by this point they were already out of warranty. i ended up filing a repair request with beyerdynamic regardless and figured the cost of shipping and repair was better than having to buy an entirely new headset.

eventually I get them shipped out and beyerdynamic reaches out with this email.. what the hell. you're telling me this whole time ive been using fake DT 770s.. i feel so deceived..

i've reached out to amazon to report the seller and maybe hopefully get a replacement pair as an early christmas gift
