Realistically, how many people can I host comfortably?

I’m hosting a Christmas cocktail mixer and was hoping to invite 10-12 people. I really want everyone to be able to take a seat at any given time, and not feel stuck standing. Not sure where to place additional seating (stools/Folding chair in a way that makes sense with the room, and foot traffic flow.

For more info on my space. It’s a 1 bed, 1 bath, 760 sqft. The hallway to the entrance door is behind me, and the kitchen spans the entire wall to my right (the kitchen wall, living room, and dining room are all open to each other)

Do you think 10-12 is too many, or can be comfortable (not feeling claustrophobic) with the space. Any tips from people who host in small apartments?
