After a year with this stack (ifi Zen Dac and ifi Zen Can) I am still very happy with it. It drives everything with its 2000 mW of power (Yes, even the HE6SE V2), it is simple, the Amp is Class A and I can switch Gain and "EQ" it with simple buttons. The only downside is that the DAC loses connection when I leave the PC on on idle for a few hours. Then I need to disconnect the USB-cable and plug it in again. This is still better than my experiences with other stacks and all-in-ones which have complicated menues and turn into bricks if you make a slight mistake when unplugging and plugging them in again. I also really enjoy the sound of the Class A Amplification. Can you do better? Sure you can, but the whole package of sound, ease of use and reliablility is not easy to beat. To anyone who is thinking about getting one of these, I have one recommendation: Just plug it in and leave it be! Do not bother with updates and firmware and all that. If it works, just enjoy it.
