For the foreseeable future, I need no more.
| Used Fidelio X2HR and Blon BL-03 for a long time... Swapped to planar. Edition XS + Artti T10 - I feel like this is my endgame - at least for now :) Fidelio X2HR were my first more more serious pair of headphones. I've owned some cheap Superlux before, but Fidelios kinda opened the world for me. I still use them for media and movies, especially at night when I don't feel like using the speakers. BLON BL-03 the infamous belief letmusicburn oppoty nevergiveup.. and they never gave up. Washed them twice by accident, dropped numerous times, used for close to 6 years now. They still sound great, although I wanted some more clarity. Edition XS the leap of faith. Ordered them from China and was really worried especially considering XS reputation around quality control. It was worth it - just some time with them made me realize its strenghts, especially compared to the Fidelios. I love the planar bass, which brings me to... Artti T10. The newest addition. So far I need to get some better tips because the fit isn't the best, but I am thoroughly impressed in how chi-fi has evolved. The best part for me? Every single of those headphones I'm running on an CX31993 dongle. I'm being dead serious when I say i hear absolutely no difference in more expensive dac/amps. I've tried Sound Blaster G6 and K11, yet I'm fully satisfied with the 5$ dongle... With some speakers (2x Motion+ for parties and outdoors and Microlab Solo 6C for TV and listening) I feel like I've got basically every base covered. I don't regret any purchase! :) [link] [comments] |
