Protect your hearing and have a wonderfull listening sunday

Whenever I get a new amp I pull out my decibel meter and mark the absolute point I am hitting 80 decibel*. I know my hearing will thank me some day for it.

From my personal experience, listening to the spot I have marked is already way too loud for my ears, I am usually way off the 80dB mark.

The picture is showing both the 80dB mark and my personal listening volume of the HD650. I see posts where people listen way past 80dB, how do they do it? My ears would explode!

  • Measurement done with an inexpensive decibel meter and a subjective loud song. Purely to have a rough estimate of 80dB. Your mileage might vary.
