I now know KLH used to be the shiznit, but upon trying to research them all I can find is an old listing from HiBid, with these being labeled as monitors. Even looking at a PDF catalogue of all KLH products I couldn't find these! Closest in name scheme I could find was the "R-5100" but as you can see pictured, these are "V-5100" with the R-5100 not even being speakers, but a receiver?

What I wanna know: Are these cool? Are they worth anything? Why is the fucking tweeter on the bottom? Are these okay to use as livingroom-bookshelf speakers or are they for strictly for close seated listening? Any ideas/comments appreciated!!!

I don't plan to sell but I'm curious what I've landed here for $7 each. They sound good enough. Mids are a little washed but the bass response w/o a subwoofer is impressive. The highs are crisp. They have HEFT, their smaller size absolutely hides their true weight.

I legitimately argued with two old men in a goodwill over these speakers. One of them said "Son, if you don't walk away with those right now they're walking away with me!"
