Got to listen to the KEF Muon speakers at the newly opened KEF London Audio Gallery. This room consists of 9 surround speakers, 14 subwoofers, and of course the Muons. We didn’t have an appointment but the gentleman was kind enough to give us a quick sample of what these speakers can do. Hans Zimmer live in Prague was one of the examples he played and I can honestly say there is absolutely nothing like this listening experience. Every single instrument was perfectly present and balanced. The low ends shook your core and the highs sang through your ears. Of course that’s what you’d come to expect with a room perfectly calibrated for every listening position and expertly designed acoustic architecture, but it gave me some ideas that could be applied in a more budget friendly setting.
