This Osprey bag seems more or less perfect for what I want - a laptop backpack with a supportive hip strap (bonus that it's tuck-away) + load lifters. Perfect for EDC or a short holiday.

Downsides are 1. Price is pretty steep at £175. It seems that I can only get this from the Osprey website in the UK which is always the most expensive place to get Osprey bags. Not sure if I can wait longer for other sites to stock them since this bag is fairly new. 2. the weight at 1kg - I would be okay with sacrificing robustness for a lighter pack 3. No outside water bottle holders

Does anyone have any other alternatives for a laptop backpack with hip strap?
