Hands down best $5 upgrade

I never thought I'd say this, but after countless hours of meticulously tweaking my setup—trying out everything from different cables to room treatments—the most transformative upgrade was a $5 pack of googly eyes.

As soon as I adhered these little marvels to my speakers, I noticed an immediate improvement in soundstage depth and imaging. The googly eyes seem to reduce phase distortion, allowing for an expansive, almost holographic sound field. The bass tightened up significantly, delivering that punchy low-end without any of the previous flabbiness. It's like the drivers finally know what they're supposed to do with their lives.

Highs? Crispy. Mids? Richer than ever. The eyes must be adding some kind of psychoacoustic enhancement because I can now perceive microdynamics in a way that makes my previous setup feel like a kindergarten art project.

For anyone skeptical, I'd recommend you trust your ears. You don't need a double-blind test to hear the difference. Just attach these beauties to your gear, sit back, and prepare for auditory enlightenment.

And a big shoutout to my local hi-fi shop for…well, absolutely nothing, because they didn’t suggest this. But hey, if they want to start stocking googly eyes in the accessories section, they might just save a few more audiophiles from spending thousands on minor tweaks.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got to go calibrate my googly eyes to ensure optimal placement for the sweet spot. Happy listening, folks!
