I got this in e-earphones akihabara wanting to just get the regular Meze 109 Pros, but alas it was out of stock and they only had this exclusive Japanese model on hand. Im swapping from the HD800s and I find these more comfortable for longer sessions and it doesn't fall of my head as easily as the HD800s. Overall generally surprised at the bass and mids that these put out for an open back headphone. It also comes with like Mezes braided balanced cable which was a nice touch for the extra premium pricing
