This is a very lucky coincidence and ultimately a light-hearted little post. I got what was intended to be an HD 800 Capra strap as a gift, but I was a bit confused when it had no clear method of attachment. The QR code on the card directed me to their HD 800 strap installation video, which left me further confused by the strap looking different and not receiving the respective snap-on headband piece.

I was initially a bit disappointed to have gotten the incorrect strap, but before resorting to emailing Capra, I first wanted to see which one I actually got. Lo and behold, this happened to be a DCA Aeon strap, and I have an Aeon Closed X I was meaning to replace the strap for! It's a perfect fit and it feels great. Its slight stretchiness seems like it'll be nice for weight distribution, and the extra 3d-printed pieces eliminate the nitinol rod noise perfectly.

Shoutouts to Capra for an honest mistake somehow still ending up a win. I'll be sure to retry an HD 800 strap order sometime in the future. ????
