You all made me do this - just picked up a 2017 d’Yquem. First purchase purely based on this sub’s recommendations. Usually I avoid sweet wines.

Will open it for Christmas so will update here with tasting notes then But just letting you all know that you all have set my expectations sky high.

Re pairing am thinking of a creme brûlée or a cheesecake. But other suggestions welcome.

(Not sure if the rules will classify this as bottle porn & disallow it, if so will post this after it is opened.)
