Celebration night!
![]() | Dagueneau pur sang 19: first time drinking Dagueneau and I was a bit nervous since there is a lot of comment about it being disappointing for the price. Well it is a bit expensive, but it did not disappoint in anyway. A little reduction on the nose with a good minerality and orange/mandarins, very good energy and concentration with a long finish. Bonnes mares charlopin 14: WOTN, probably drinking at peak, mostly tertiary notes of forest floor, truffle, the fruit is still present but in the background with an acidity that lift the whole palate and prolonge the finish. Trapet: completely closed for business… did not open up much over 6 hours except for the nose which was giving glimpse of a Grand cru. Very primary still, mostly red fruits, simple, not in anyway at GC level on the palate. [link] [comments] |
