My first smash burger, how did I do?

| This was my first attempt. I found it a bit difficult to scrape the patties from the pan (I used stainless steel) as they were really sticking and some pieces fell apart in the process. I will definitely use a different type of bun next time, those “brioche” were a bit sweet for my taste. Also, American cheese is impossible to find in Italy and I went with Kraft Cheddar (believe me it’s different from the one you find in smash burger joints). Nothing to say about the sauce I prepared, it was really good. Maybe I was looking for some more crust on the patties but I was scared I would burn them. I am sure there’s a lot of room for improvement but overall I’m quite happy with the result. [link] [comments] |
