Pale ruby core fading into brown orange brick rim.

Wine is cloudy

Nose is cooked cranberry, dried red currant, dried blueberry, dried fig, menthol cigarettes tobacco , dried savory herb, desiccated lavender, white pepper. Earthy quality is like a dusty dirt in the air on a very windy day.

Palate confirms all of the nose with a slightly more fresh/fleshy fruit profile along with clove and savory rosemary finish.

Tannin is medium, acid medium, alcohol medium+

Wine is high complexity. More interesting than tasty for me. Would have liked to drink this 6-10 years ago.
