Needed an hour to really open up. At first was bone dry finish, almost unpleasantly so, little nose and mostly tannin and clove. Once it opened got a lot of spices, red fruit, chili and pepper with a long warm, almost floral finish.

Quite subtle in general though , only the wine fans at the table really enjoyed it. Paired very well with an 800g Chateaubriand for lunch but was in dire need of a nap after.
