I’m used to making Neapolitan style pizza (I posted a pic just because it’s mandatory here) and tomorrow I’ll be trying Detroit style pizza. Problem: I’m French and live in France, and pepperonis are distinctly American. We don’t have them here. What would be a good European alternative? Chorizo? Spianata calabrese? Should it be mild or very spicy?
