I’ve had good luck with some of the library release Remoissenets over the years — great way to jump on some aged, resolved Burgs with downside protection from the retailer. Anyway, this was obviously fully resolved and all about the tertiary characteristics but still retaining a strong core of red fruit; super-classic sous bois notes with cranberry and orange peel; still a strong acidic backbone holding it all together with very pleasant red fruit and spice transitioning to a respectable finish. This is still very much alive though would have been better probably fifteen years ago, but nonetheless very enjoyable for those seeking a classic aged Burg profile.
