The Grange was surprisingly drinkable - obviously it is a big wine and 44 years has softened it.

Full-bodied, luscious and silky texture in the mouth. Amazing nose with notes of prune, berries, chocolate.

The person who shared it with me said it could have kept longer but to me I don't think it gets much better.
