So, I finally had a reason to pop this beautiful bottle open- and it was absolutely divine ! Took a while to open up, but once it did this was a beautiful wine. The bouquet is still fairly fruity with aromas blueberries, cherry, blackberry, smoke, tobacco, dried herbs, fine oak and vanilla. Full-bodied with medium(+)acidity and very ripe round gentle but firm tannins. Quite complex flavours of blackcurrants, raspberry, chocolate coated plum, smoke, tobacco. Good finish with long aftertaste
