Someone gave me this bottle from Lidl: Piesporter Michelsberg Riesling Feinherb (2022, Mosel). I looked it up on Vivino and it’s sitting around 4 stars… which honestly feels inflated.

It’s light, slightly sweet, fruity – totally drinkable – but also a bit flat and short. Nothing wrong with it, but I wouldn’t call it memorable either.

Anyone else tried this one? Or other budget Mosel Rieslings? Curious if I’m missing something, or if Vivino just tends to be overly kind to supermarket wines.
