Aroma: Great notes of oak, cedar, tobacco, and dried fruit with a little sous bois

Taste: Notes of blackberry, blueberry, and cloves dominated the palate. A few leathery notes were also present. The tannin structure wasn’t the best and the wine was slightly too acidic. Overall not a bad wine given the vintage

Finish: A medium length finish of herbs, menthol, and oak
