Purchased in 2018 at 79,50€ ( Lidl Prestige Wines )

Decanted and aired / consumed throughout evening. Initially paired with steak, mushroom cream sauce, in duck fat baked small potatoes and a simple salad.

This 08 felt quite light and delicate on the palate. However, balanced and refined … not as harsh as some 08 can be. It has your typical Bordeaux feel and taste. Can I say that it had more feminine treats than initially anticipated ?

Great wine … never got boring … loved it !
