Spent a week in Beaune recently and had an incredible time. Would require longer post but ended up tasting 80 wines (a lot of 2023 vintage) and traveling up and down the Côte d’Or. While it is difficult and often impossible to buy wine from the winery I did get a few. I found this bottle locally back near NYC while I wait for my shipment to come.

Tasting notes- No fruit, lots of spice, tobacco, forest floor. Moderate tannins and a medium finish. I think in a few years when the fruit may come out it will be more balanced. No regrets opening a young bottle, was worth it to remember the trip.
