2018 Duckhorn Vineyards Merlot Three Palms Vineyard. Right out the bottle, lots of red fruit, medium-full bodied, grippy and present tannins. Needs time to open up, assuming that it will be an even more pleasant wine after 3-4 hours. Will probable also get better with a few year in the cellar.

I really like the dry mouthfeel so tannins no issues but will be interesting to taste during the night.

Good but there’s better merlots around when you factor in the price, could probably get a Spanish Merlot for half the cost.
