After many failed attempts using the ‘pour boiling water onto a hot baking sheet’ method to generate steam in the oven, I broke down and purchased a Dutch oven. Several other fails were attempted in said Dutch oven. I finally learned you have to preheat the lid, as well as pot. Et voila!
