Etienne Sauzet Chassagne Montrachet Les Encegnieres 2021

This was a treat to open tonight! My only experience with Sauzet so far had been their Bourgogne Chard.

I came across this in a local retailer and decided what the hell I will stretch the wine budget a bit haha.

The nose is white flowers, stone fruits, and flinty

The palate is very mineral, green apples, ripe lemons, and a touch honeyed

The mouthfeel is balanced with good acidity

WOW! Is all I can say. If you come across one of these I would definitely grab one!

Paid $110
