I recently picked up this Wine Enthusiast 300 bottle fridge from Costco. I’m pretty happy with it, but I was surprised to see that there is no anchor points on the back or top to secure it to the wall. I live in earthquake country California and have a young child who likes to climb things, so securing this 500 lb behemoth is a top priority.

I contacted Wine Enthusiast to ask what to do, and they gave me some generic gibberish about securing it with “appropriately sized” bolts to studs in the wall, but they don’t specify where it is safe to drill through the back.

Surely I’m not the only one who has considered this. How have you all secured your big and tall wine fridges?
