First let me preface that I still in the early stages of my wine journey but every once in a while I get something that's amazing and this is the case with this burgundy. For me the aromas of berries black berries and strawberry burst out of the glass this was also present on the palate where I found this most mind-blowing. Juicy black cherry strawberry and blackberries this extended to even the branches and leaves of the bush on the finish with a slight herbal note. Paired wonderful with braised spare ribs on Rosemary thyme mashed potatoes. Might have got lucky with selecting a great vintage. Ready to learn more from this subreddit.
