Smith Haut Lafitte Blanc 18

If you want to splash out on white Bordeaux wines, one can only go for SHL. Their whites are so clean, elegant, deep, broad, fresh, intense, abundant with flavors and built for some aging. This 18 was paired with seafood last night. This SHL fired on all cylinders. I scored it 96 points. Reminds me why I tuck those away for special occasions. And why I buy almost every year en primeur. This was a private cellar purchase though, in 2023 and I paid 123,15€ / bottle.
