This is the vintage to drink now. Opens with lots of cherry and just enough tannin to keep it interesting but not too much to pucker. The alcohol is well managed and keeps the fruit well balanced. People think Opus is just another “flash bottle” but it is truly a complex work of art, as we continued (not decanted) it presented some leather and smoke.
