Sine Qua Non Grenache Profuga 2018
| Drank and decanted over four hours. Second experience with Sine Qua Non and it's amazing. Initially super strong and high tannins, but mellowed out and fruit notes came out. Notes of cherry pits, raspberry, strawberry stems, aloe vera, green peppercorn, orange skin. Definitely a powerful wine, doesn't taste hot, but you can tell it's strong from an alcohol perspective. Paired well with spicy vegetarian nachos. I love this wine, it's a tiny notch below the Shakti, but that may just be age. As a bonus, saved half a glass for the next day and it opened up even more! Would definitely decant for a minimum three hours before touching this. 93 points. [link] [comments] |
