2001 Harlan Estate. I was worried it was past its best, but it opened up in the decanter to display crushed black fruit, cassis, Cadbury’s Turkish Delight, Bournville plain chocolate, Irish blackberries. It took an hour to become what it deserved to be. Spectacular.
