Decant? Oxidate? Advise.
| Yesterday there was a post about a different wine and decanting. I joined in bc I had questions about how to "prepare" these 2 Bordeaux for tonight. (Context: I'm 65, just completed WSET 1 - confident I passed - nominal wine drinking history. This is my new retirement hobby. I'm enjoying it. I start WSET 2 in April). Anyway, the responses I got were conflicting. Some said decant. Others said open and let sit 6-8 hours. One said open a couple hours early, pour a couple ounces for a taste.
