Tight and restrained at first but opened up some with in-bottle aeration and after a few minutes in glass.

Tart cherries… fresh red and black fruit. Coffee. tobacco. Medium+ acidity.

A more elegant, dare I say “feminine”, pinotage… served slightly chilled in a Burgundy glass.

If global warming destroys Burgundy Pinot Noir… this style of pinotage will surely save the day.
