The nose is bursting with Zinfandel character, but the oak and alcohol may just be too much for my taste. I've seen so much love Ridge Geyserville on here so I'm looking to see if anyone has felt similarly.

Decanting for 2 hours so far. I will continue to drink over the next couple of hours and see how it evolves. I also have the other half bottle for tomorrow. I will report back here if my opinion changes.

I'm wondering if I'd prefer it with some age.
