Henri Boillot Bourgogne Pinot Noir

TLDR: Cherry Minie

What a stunning wine. This taste way more expensive than a Bourgogne should/could taste. Opened last night and continue to drink today.

Smell of red berries not as light as strawberry more like cherry and leather very approachable from such a young age.

Taste of spice and a cherry and acidic of a very fresh minerality, reminded me of why I love pinot. After 3 recent bottles of Bourgogne rouge I have drank in the past 2 months(not posted here because it didnt really impressed me as much). This is great.

From my experience, I have had way too many Bourgogne rouge that is just too breathless from being way too young. I think Bourgogne rouge should be approachable from release. Why would I have to wait for it if I also have to wait on village, premier cru and GC.
