| Light, cloudy garnet in the glass Feral and tart on the nose with gooseberries, elderberries, mint, and cut grass. Fresh, alive and a little wild on the palate, with those tiny, sour, strawberries. Salty. Also tarragon. I really like this wine. Reminded me of Thillardon - unapologetically natty but imo only in service of being the best wine possible. I thought this was incredible value as a lot of the best Beaujolais becomes fairly pricy. $25 4.4/5 Great audio pairing with 11/5/77 at Community War Wemorial, Rochester, NY [link] [comments] |
