I opened this last night with two dozen oysters with a mignonette sauce and horseradish crème fraiche. Gorgeous wine, flinty, complex, lemon curds, nice floral nose, and a long 30 second finish. 14 years of aging has rounded it out nicely. Finished the bottle with fondue and it paired great with that too. I’m not a big Burgundy guy because of the specialized knowledge, but bottles like this make me want more. Merry Christmas to all the wine lovers!
