While Loire is home to many of my favorite whites, there can be something special about an aged Loire Cabernet Franc.

On open, a mixture of earth, developed pyrazine, and tart red fruit, and flowers on the nose. With time, more of the fruit comes out.

A lovely amount of acidity left on this wine. Savory, with plenty of structure to continue aging. Tart red fruits, mushroom, and some hard herbs on the palate.

A wonderful wine showcasing the value of aged Loire reds.

100% Cabernet Franc, 13% ABV
