Mom mom! Are these pretty? ????

I've been lurking on this sub for a few months, and also watching tons of sugar cookie content on YouTube. I find y'all amazingly talented !

The icing consistency is definitely off on these cookies, but I think they turned out not thaaaat bad. I had fun and I'm pretty proud of myself for a first attempt.

There's so much room for improvement though. I'm pretty sure I overmixed my royal icing, so I don't know how these will dry.

Oh, and the color choices are questionable too I know... I really struggle understanding how food coloring works (I initially wanted a light brown and a pale blue, which somehow turned into a baby pink and a toothpaste blue! ????????).

Any tips welcome ! I think I found a new hobby ☺️
