I made a gluten free strawberry cake and 2 dozen gluten free cookies! I used my regular buttercream for the cookies and made a variety of flowers. But for the cake I used stabilized whipped cream frosting and wow is it less forgiving than buttercream lol. This was first time using it over a whole cake plus piping details, and not just as the filling. There’s definitely things are something’s I’d do differently and I learned a lot.

Most importantly though it was all delicious! The birthday girl reported back that everyone loved it and kept asking if she was sure it was all gluten free because it was so good. And she said it was the best best birthday cake she’s had in a long time! Hearing that made me so happy ????
