For my wife's nan!

For my wife

Really prouf of this one - my wife did the flowers with modelling fondant and absolutely nailed it.

Looking for a bit of advice though, what buttercream do you prefer for warmer times of the year? I've been using a typical buttercream - not sure if you'd call it UK buttercream, it's mostly butter and icing sugar with a little vanilla and whole milk.

Anyway, the day of the party it was so humid that the piping started to get a little soft and sweaty quite quickly. There were no disasters, but now thinking there must be ways to help it deal with the heat more easily (I know I'm basically talking about how to stop butter melting). I just discovered Ermine frosting is a thing, does anybody rate it?
