Hi all, I really have not shopped for cakes in a long time and was hoping y’all could tell me if this is a reasonable price for a cake like this or not. I was quoted $90 for a 12” round cake (3 cake layers, 2 layers filling) with this design. I was also quoted $105 for a half sheet cake (2 layers cake, one layer filling) with this design.

I know some ingredients are expensive right now, and a more intricate design takes time. It’s a local bakery that would be making this. Does this quote seem reasonable? Also, I think we’ll have about 35 guests at this party, would the 12” round be enough to serve everyone a decent piece of cake?
