New to baking- marbled icing/frosting?
![]() | Hi all! I am trying to make my wonderful boyfriend a birthday cake, and I have a question about cream cheese icing. I made him a carrot cake, which uses cream cheese frosting. All the videos I’m watching about marbling icing unfortunately use buttercream. From what I’m reading, cream cheese frosting is much softer, so would it be possible to marble this? Can I use the same technique as buttercream, or maybe refrigerate it so it’s a little less soft? This picture is the look i’m trying to achieve!
