...you absolutely deliver with the most over-the-top, decorated within an inch of its life, sprinkle-covered-with-love cake. ✨????????????????✨

My mom has been letting me blind-make her birthday cakes for a few years. She'll give me a theme, or colors, and that's it; she wants to be completely surprised by the outcome. She's gotten a range of decorations - this one is the most ridiculous (yet).

Cake is box mix white dyed purple with ube extract (you can see the purple-ish on the crumb cake bottom) in 6" pans (4-layer cake). I did put sprinkles in it to see if funfetti is possible in colored cake...it...kindaaaa...works, lol. Frosting is a King Arthur recipe (can't remember which one but it has meringue powder in it), and is flavored with vanilla and black walnut extract.
